What’s the difference between all-over color and a regrowth touch-up?
A regrowth touch-up covers just your roots. An all-over color refreshes both your regrowth and your ends.
Do you offer vivid or fantasy colors?
Yes! We love creative color and use Danger Jones for vibrant, lasting results. A consultation is required so your stylist can create a plan, set expectations, and determine if multiple sessions are needed.
What does a gloss/toner do?
A gloss or toner refreshes your tone, enhances shine, and can correct unwanted undertones like brassiness.
How often should I get a gloss/toner?
Every 4–8 weeks between color services.
Do color services include a blow-dry?
Color services do not automatically include a finishing service. When booking online, you’ll need to select a finishing option to complete your appointment. If you’d like to schedule the complimentary associate blow-dry instead, please call the salon.
What’s the difference between balayage, highlights, and lived-in color?
- Balayage: hand-painted, natural, and low-maintenance
- Highlights: structured foils for brightness
- Lived-in color: a blend of techniques for a soft, dimensional result with a seamless grow-out

How often should I come in for maintenance?

When should I book Custom Color instead of Highlights?
Book Custom Color if you’re looking for a full transformation, creative placement, or a more dramatic change than highlights alone. If you have a major transformation in mind, we recommend scheduling a complimentary consultation first—this ensures the right amount of time, techniques, and pricing are reserved for your service.
Do I need to book a blow-dry after color?
Can I book just a blow-dry?
Yes! Choose from a Signature Blow-Dry, Blow-Dry + Custom Treatment, or Blow-Dry + Hot Tool finish for waves or sleek styling.
What’s the difference between a Signature and a Luxury Haircut?
How do I know if I should book a short, medium, or long haircut?
Please book based on your current hair length—not your desired length. For example, if your hair is past your collarbone, you’ll book a long haircut, even if you plan to cut it into a shorter style. If you’re unsure, select the longer option, or give us a text or call.
How often should I schedule a haircut?
Do kids’ cuts differ from adult services?
Yes. Guests under 10 have their own pricing category for barber, short, medium, or long cuts.
What’s the difference between the treatments you offer?

- Oribe Renewal Remedies: A luxury treatment that restores softness, enhances shine, and supports scalp health. Infused with high-performance ingredients for an instant, visible transformation.
- K18: A breakthrough peptide-powered treatment that repairs hair at a molecular level. Unlike traditional conditioners, K18 reconnects broken keratin chains to reverse damage from bleach, color, heat, and chemical services—leaving hair strong, soft, and resilient.
How long does a Brazilian Blowout last?
- Full: up to 12 weeks
- Express: up to 6 weeks
Will a Brazilian Blowout make my hair completely straight?
Can I color my hair after a Brazilian Blowout or perm?
Yes, but we recommend waiting at least 2 weeks for best results.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Arrive with clean, dry hair free of heavy products. Bring inspiration photos if you’d like—we love seeing your vision!
How long will my appointment take?
Haircuts are typically 45–60+ minutes. Color services can range from 2–4+ hours depending on the complexity.
Can I buy products to maintain my results at home?
Yes! We carry Oribe, L’Oréal, Color Wow, K18, and more in-salon and online so you can keep your results lasting long after your visit.
Do you offer loyalty rewards?
Yes! Every dollar you spend on services or retail earns points that can be redeemed for future services or products.
Do you offer financing for larger services/packages?
Yes! Through Cherry Financing, you can split payments on services like extensions.
Can I bring someone with me?
To ensure a relaxing experience for all guests, we ask that only those receiving services remain in the salon.
Do you accept gratuity on credit cards?
Yes. Tips are welcome via card, cash, or Venmo.

We believe great experiences come from clear expectations and mutual respect. These policies help us create space for that to nurture a calm, relaxed, stress-free appointment––every time.
Cancellations:
Please provide at least 48 hours notice of cancellations, or rescheduling reservations. For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice a 50% non-refundable booking fee may be required to book future reservations. The booking fee is applied towards the balance of the scheduled services.*
No-Shows:
If you do not attend your scheduled reservation and did not attempt to contact or reschedule in advance a 100% non-refundable booking fee may be required to book future reservations. The booking fee is applied towards the balance of the scheduled services.*
Late Policy:
To ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests, please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your service provider may not be able to accommodate your full service. We reserve the right to adjust or modify your services as needed to stay on schedule for following appointments.
Adjustments + Satisfaction:
At Ateliér Beauty, ensuring you love your hair, skin, lashes, and overall experience is our top priority. If you're not completely satisfied with your service after your visit, please contact us within 7 days from the date of service to schedule an adjustment with your service provider or another. Adjustments are considered on a case-by-case basis, and we reserve the right to determine eligibility.
Refunds:
We do not offer refunds for services or hair extensions. Additionally, items such as Nutrafol, hair/hot tools, brushes, clips, combs, and hair accessories are final sale. Products can be exchanged or credited to your account within 30 days of purchase with minimal use, except in cases where refunds are necessary due to backorders.
Discontinuation of Services:
At Ateliér Beauty, we reserve the right to refuse services or terminate relationships if deemed necessary. We do not tolerate excessive rudeness, verbal abuse, profanity, or non-compliance with salon policies, which may result in immediate termination of services.
Children:
Due to the relaxing nature of the Ateliér Beauty experience, we respectfully request children be brought to the salon only when the child is receiving a service.
*Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless 48 hours notice is provided for reservation changes or cancellations.
*Booking fees are solely based on the scheduled services. Please note prices may vary if the services are adjusted after the initial consultation when agreed upon by the service provider and guest.
